Emily Mei was pulled aside by TSA while traveling to Korea to visit family and friends for the most ridiculous reason.
The TSA officer looked inside her carry-on and pulled out about 20 bags of Flamin' Hot Cheetos!
Mei figured he would just put her non-threatening snacks back and let her go. NOPE! The officer began inspecting each individual bag with test strips looking for explosives!
She went on to tweet about her experience and many followers were confused as to why there were so many bags of the hot snack?!
Mei responded with, "For everyone who’s asking why I had so many bags of Hot Cheetos, apparently it’s hard to get in Korea so my friends always ask me to bring it for them LOL."
She said she normally makes room in her suitcase for snacks and foods to bring to her friends, but this time her suitcase was full and she had to stash them in her carry-on, which apparently was the WRONG move...
Looking back even though Mei was embarrassed by her experience, she doesn't mind that TSA checked her bag because it made her feel safe while traveling.
Come on! All she wanted to do was bring her friends some Flamin' Hot Cheetos!!
