Do you love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? Then you NEED to check out the new restaurant 'PB&J' in the West Loop because they claim they have the world's best and most expensive PB&J around.

It's only $350...

Oh yes, you read that right. One of their famous PB&J sandwiches is on the menu for $350

Co-owner of the restaurant, Matthew McCahill, is convinced that some classic sandwich connoisseurs would definitely pay that much to try the world's best peanut butter and jelly.

What makes it 'world's best?'

Glad you asked.

Well first off, it is called the Golden Goose and McCahill says he has pulled ingredients from all over the globe including the most amazing jam in the world. It also has gold leaf-crusted bread "with gold dust in the flour," and is topped off with a drizzle of very expensive Manuka honey from New Zealand.

The good news about the Golden Goose though is that proceeds from the purchase of the PB&J in July go to Chicago HOPES for Kids, which is an organization that provides educational support to kids living in Chicago homeless shelters.

Pay to try the world's best PB&J and help the city's youth at the same time? Count us in!
