It's time for some Good Vibes on this Monday!
The coolest thing happened in Tinley Park Friday night during the Florida Georgia Line concert!
Brian Kelly and Tyler Hubbard of FGL have teamed up with the Independence Fund, an organization that provides all-terrain tracked wheelchairs to catastrophically wounded veterans, so that they may regain a sense of independence back.
On Friday during their set, Kelly and Hubbard presented one of these all-terrain tracked wheelchairs to Yuriy Zmysly, a local Marine Corps veteran.
There was not a dry eye in the amphitheater.
Zmysly was injured in 2006. He had surgery after his latest deployment, where unfortunately there was a medical mistake that deprived him of oxygen and left him permanently in a wheelchair. FGL presented this gift to him during their song 'Dirt' and both Zmysly and his wife came on stage for all to see.
Kelly and Hubbard love being involved with this organization and will continue to present wheelchairs to those deserving veterans.
Zmysly's wife Aimee joined us on the show to talk about last Friday and how much the wheelchair has changed her husband's life.
