Without skipping a beat, Fauci responded with "Brad Pitt" and on Saturday for the show's second "At Home" episode, that statement became a reality as Pitt opened the show as the doctor addressing the nation.
The skit opened with Pitt poking fun at the top doc's sex symbol status and at Trump's suggestion that bleach may rid the body of coronavirus.
“First, I’d like to thank all the older women in America who have sent me supportive, inspiring, and sometimes graphic emails,” Pitt’s Fauci began. “Now, there’s been a lot of misinformation out there about the virus. And, yes, the president has taken some liberties with our guidelines. So tonight, I would like to explain what the president was trying to say. And, remember, let’s all keep an open mind.”
The NBC show announced its return on Twitter with a video of the cast in a Zoom session, captioned, “We’re back this Saturday #SNLAtHome."
It is unknown if the show will return next week for a third "at home" episode, but America is loving the entertainment!
