On Saturday morning, Diana Chong stopped into a Middle Island bagel shop in New York to grab a coffee before heading to a friend's house in Pennsylvania.

She pops into the Bagels 101 store every morning on her way to work and has since formed a friendship with the staff there.

Her husband was driving their Kia, but she took the keys into the bagel shop so she could use her Bally rewards keychain. She hopped out quickly, grabbed their bagels and coffee and jumped right back in.

It was not until Chong arrived at her friend's house 180 miles away in Pennsylvania that she realized she left her keys back at the restaurant.

She immediately called the bagel shop manager, Vincent Proscia, and he said he would overnight them to her, but there were two issues with that. One, there is no mail delivery service on Sunday and two, she would not be able to miss work on Monday. Chong was just relieved that her and her husband did not stop and turn the car off while on the road trip or else they would have been stranded.

Then Proscia, without hesitation, said he would drive them to her. He then drove three and a half hours one way and three and a half back to return them to Chong.

She was grateful for his generosity and for taking customer service to the next level.

"It's just the right thing to do," Proscia said. "If it happened to my wife, I would want someone else to do it for her." #GoodVies
