Fire Capt. Kevin Lloyd arrived at the scene of a car accident with a pregnant woman driving and her screaming two-year-old in the back seat.
The woman had been rear-ended and while neither passenger was injured, her toddler would not stop screaming from her car seat.
Lloyd went to tend to the little girl while his partner helped the mother, but he could not get her to calm down. He noticed she was clutching bottles of nail polish and immediately he had an idea.
He asked if she wanted to paint his nails and she lit up right away!
The toddler then started smearing purple paint all over the captain's hands and nails!
While Lloyd was getting his nails painted, Battalion Chief Allen Hadley arrived at the scene and put his hand in the car to get his nails done as well!

With the help of both firefighters, the little girl had not only calmed down, but was happy and excited! The firefighters joked that she probably would have painted their toes if they let her!
After being evaluated the mother thanked the first responders for all their help and took some photos of their fresh manicures!
Both the captain and chief have daughters of their own and said helping the toddler reminded them of when their kids were that young. The two took a very stressful situation and turned it into a moment the little girl will never forget. #GoodVibes
