An ICU nurse in Wisnconsin went above and beyong her job description.
Brayden Auten got sick back in April and his parents were devastated when they found out he had an aggressive virus that was attacking his liver. They were told that he needed a partial liver transplant.
Auten's parents were desperate to find a donor and took his story to Facebook. While many reached out, none were a match and his parents were at a loss.
BUT then out of no where an ICU nurse at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Cami Loritz, stepped up and became the hero.
She decided to donate part of her liver to save 8 year old Auten's life.
His parents could not believe her selflessness and generosity and called her a miracle.
