Ride-share company Lyft partnered with Rush University Medical Center and Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force to offer free rides to 11 Chicago area hospitals in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Lyft released a statement saying they do not believe transportation should be a barrier when it comes to healthcare.
Throughout the entire month of October Chicagoans will receive a code that is valid for two free rides after scheduling a breast cancer screening at any of the following locations:
