Chasity Patterson, 23, lost her father four years ago and has been keeping his memory alive by texting his old number updating him on her life.

She was hoping somehow he was listening.

The day before the fourth anniversary of his death, Patterson texted the number again saying how tough the next day was going to be and telling him how she beat cancer. Patterson texted that she has not gotten sick since he passed because she promised him she would take better care of herself!

She also told him how much has happened this year including that she graduated college with honors, fell in love, unfortunately, got her heart broke, but ultimately came out a stronger person!

Someone was listening though, and she received a reply. "Hi sweetheart, I am not your father, but I have been getting all your messages for the past 4 years," the message read.

The texter introduced himself as Brad and told Patterson that he lost his daughter back in 2014 due to a car accident and her messages have helped keep him alive.

He said he has been listening to her for the past for years and he wishes his daughter would have become the woman Patterson is.

Patterson screenshotted the conversation and posted it to Facebook saying how she can finally let her dad go to rest. The post has since received 100,000 shares and counting. #GoodVibes
