An 11-year-old boy from Montgomery, Illinois has completed his 50th half marathon!- Young Aiden has been traveling around the country running races and on Sunday his finished his 50th marathon in his 50th state by completing one in Iowa!
- He's hoping to make the Guinness Book of World Records by becoming the youngest person to do so.
- The current record is held by a 12 year old.
- Aiden's grandmother also runs with him in every race!
Normal operations have resumed at Midway Airport after a bag exploded on a belt while being loaded onto an outgoing Volaris flight.- Reports say there’s nothing to suggest a sinister motive.
- Authorities are investigating to determine if it was some type of battery that exploded.
25k Chicago Public School teachers are still on strike, canceling classes for the 4th day!
- If anything, they don't seem to be getting closer to a negotiation.
- Mayor Lori Lightfoot sent a letter to the Teachers Union asking to end the teacher strike while negotiations continue, but the union passed on the offer.
- CTU President Jesse Sharkey said the strike may go on longer than anticipated.
