- Fallout from the strike is impacting ACT, PSAT, and SAT tests that were scheduled for this weekend and have now been rescheduled.
- Additionally, CPS athletes are suing Chicago Public Schools and the IHSA, saying they've been unfairly denied the right to take part in state playoffs because of the teachers’ strike.
- Some are concerned that the tournament would have been their best chance at potentially getting college scholarships.
