Senator Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign said yesterday that the 78-year-old had undergone a heart procedure for a blocked artery and was canceling all his events and appearances until further notice.
Sanders sought medical care after experiencing chest discomfort during a campaign event Tuesday, and doctors inserted two stents.
He is "conversing and in good spirits" and is recovering at a Las Vegas hospital.
