Time for a Halloween edition of 'What's Up Chicago?!'
Hundreds of thousands of students in America are petitioning to have the day off from school every year on November 1st. - About a million signatures have gone to thousands of petitions on Change.org.
- An example of a submission: “School on Friday would be pointless because no one would be able to focus because they are so tired.”
Because of the winter weather advisory, trick-or-treating is postponed in several Chicago-area suburbs.
- Some of the following are tomorrow, some are Saturday.
- Beecher, Braceville, Braidwood, Dwight, Oakwood Hills, Rock Falls, Shorewood, Westmont, Sterling, Vernon Hills, and Winnetka have been named so far.

Chicago Public School strike continues...
- As far as negotiations go almost all things have been agreed upon BUT a new issue came up last night.
- Teachers want some if not all these missed school days made up.
- Mayor Lightfoot is refusing to along with it.
- The CTU President is saying she is just punishing them for striking.

- The Washington Nationals won the World Series last night for the first time in franchise history.
- Final score was 6-2 over the Astros.
- The Bulls lost in Cleveland.
- The Bears face the Eagles Sunday in Philly.
