According to Triple-A data, this week is the best time to book airfare for the 2019 holiday season and 2020 spring break season!- Based on three years of flight booking data, today is the best day to score deals on Thanksgiving flights, and tomorrow is when travelers should secure Christmas flights.
- As an aside, I called Southwest to see when their flights for Spring Break in March would open up, and tomorrow those flights will be available for booking!
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump yesterday.
- She is accusing him of, quote, "betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections," and stating, "No one is above the law."
- An issue is whether Trump abused his presidential powers and pressured Ukraine's president to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, and his son Hunter Biden.
- Trump, meanwhile, authorized the release of a transcript of his call with Ukraine's president, which is to be made public today, saying, "You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call."
The cast of Hamilton Chicago joined the Cook County Clerk's office yesterday to encourage folks to register to vote!
