Tinder is finally adding features to make users feel safer on dates.
- The app can now track people's locations and users can send an alarm, which contacts the police if feeling unsafe at any point.
Amazon Prime members may now get their groceries delivered for free.
- Grocery delivery service is called "Amazon Fresh".
- The previous monthly fee of $14.99 is no more.
- You just go on Amazon and enter your zip code to see if fresh is available in your area, groceries will be at your door within two hours, and you can even track your driver in real-time.
- You do have to have an order of at least $35
There's a surgical gown shortage and it's affecting the whole country.
- Cardinal Health, a large manufacturer of surgical gowns, told hospitals to stop using level 3 gowns because of the unsafe way they were made.
- More than 9 million gowns, used at nearly 3k facilities, have been recalled causing surgeries to be postponed.
- The FDA is working closely with the gown company but no news on when it will be fixed.
Here in Chicago, more than 400 volunteers walked the streets last night to count the number of homeless people living in Chicago.
- The total will determine federal funding for future Chicago resources and services.
- The number will include individuals in shelters, living on the streets, riding public transportation, sleeping in cars and at 24-hour parks and establishments.
- Last years count showed the Chicago homeless population was the lowest it's been in 10 years
