The US has issued a travel advisory telling Americans not to travel to China at all because of the coronavirus.

  • They've issued a red alert, its highest alert. Over 9700 people are now infected, and 213 are dead.
  • A 2nd Chicago person has now been diagnosed with the virus.
    •  It’s the husband of the woman who has already been diagnosed.
    • Both are listed as stable at St Alexis hospital in Hoffman estates.
    •  Officials do want us to know the risk for other people in Chicago is low. They are watching closely investigating 21 people in the state.

The company that owned the helicopter from Sunday's wreck that killed Kobe Bryant and 8 others will cease operation.
  • The pilot was certified to fly in poor weather conditions, but the company was not.
  • The remains of the helicopter wreckage have been moved to PHX so the investigation can continue there.

Lakers Coach Frank Vogel says his team has gotten closer since Kobe's death

  • To try to take their mind off the sadness surrounding the crash, coaches put all the players out on a football field this week seeing how their basketball skills transfer to the field.
  • Lakers play their first game tonight against Portland.

Couple quick Super Bowl stats:

  • We all look forward to the commercials during the Super Bowl, this year the ads cost between 5 and 5.6 million dollars.
