It's one of the greatest honors a country creator can receive: being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Broadcast live on the CMA's YouTube channel, those to receive this huge honor were announced:
Brooks & Dunn - Modern Era Artist Category

Jerry Bradley - Non-Performer Category

If you're familiar with those previously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, then you are already familiar with the Bradley name. Both his father & uncle were already previously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Jerry Bradley held a huge presence on Music Row for decades, operating in many different roles. He produced records for artists, was president of RCA Records for nearly a decade & was also the CMA Board President in 1975. It was Jerry Bradley who signed Alabama to RCA Records so many years ago & it's poetic that he now joins them in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Ray Stevens - Veterans Era Artist Category

For over five decades Ray Stevens has been creating music in Nashville. First playing piano & later producing for Dolly Parton. Stevens even wrote songs just for her, including "Busy Signal," and "Don't Drop Out." He sang or played instruments on "hundreds" of albums for other artists, including Elvis Presley & Waylon Jennings. His best performing country hit was "Misty."
Congratulations to all of these incredible creators!!!
