Every fan theory (with receipts!) on the title of Taylor Swift's new album

Swifties have been going wild since Taylor Swift revealed that the title of her upcoming new album is hidden within the music video for "ME!"

In fairness, fans have been going wild for quite some time, ever since Taylor began dropping hints on her Instagram that something new was coming. 

When "ME!" featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco was finally released Friday (April 26) fans were quick to absorb every frame of its corresponding music video. Taylor would later confirm on social media that she did, in fact, hide more Easter eggs for fans within the video, including the title of her album.

Hiding clues for her fans is somewhat of a game between Taylor and her Swifties, something both enjoy immensely. In her interview during the NFL Draft with Robin Roberts, she said, "The fans are amazing." In disbelief, Taylor continued, "I cannot believe how dedicated they are, how thoughtful... I can't believe how much they care. So it makes it more fun for me to create music, to create music videos, knowing that they'll care about little Easter eggs or clues or hints... You have no idea how much fun that is to make stuff for people who care about it that much. So it's the fans, they've always been there and it's just gotten more fun as time has passed." 1. Kaleidoscope: a group of butterflies

Butterflies began to appear all over Taylor Swift's Instagram in the weeks leading up to the release of her single, "ME!"

2. The Kaleidoscope in the video/nod to her song "Welcome to New York"

There is a line in Taylor's song, "Welcome to New York," where she sings, "kaleidoscope of hearts, hidden under coats." It just so happens that in the video for "ME!" Brendon Urie opens his coat, to reveal a kaleidoscope heart.

3. A kaleidoscope of memories

"It's like a kaleidoscope of memories / It just all comes back" is a line from Taylor Swift's song, "I Knew You Were Trouble." Linking back to other projects she has done is common form for Taylor Swift. Since the song is about being yourself, it would make sense that "a kaleidoscope of memories" would be meaningful... isn't that what we all are?

4. The symbolism of a kaleidoscope

As others have pointed out: 

"The kaleidoscope symbolises a 'release of blocked creativity and gives you the opportunity to see yourself in the bigger scope of life.'"
