Chicago's beloved snack staple, Garrett Popcorn, revealed some devastating news this week: an ex-employee is alleged to have stolen Garrett's secret popcorn recipes!!

Garrett Popcorn submitted information in court calling out their former director of research and development, Aisha Putnam, of allegedly stealing the recipes prior to being fired.

The company says it has evidence that Putnam downloaded up to 5,000 files, which contained the recipes, and was one of only three people with access to the documents at all.

Garrett Popcorn retained a restraining order against Putnam to keep her from using or selling the recipes.
