Fans and the country community at large are raving about Sheryl Crow's re-recording of "Redemption Day" (and its corresponding video) with the late, great Johnny Cash.
The powerful duet was re-released over 20 years after Sheryl Crow originally wrote, recorded (solo) and released the song on her self-titled album back in 1996. Johnny Cash would come across the song in the early 2000's and record a version of it himself. Fans never got a chance to hear his version of the song until 2010, however, when his album American VI: Ain't No Grave was released posthumously.
"Redemption Day" is Sheryl Crow's first single off of her 'final' album that is slated to be released later this summer.
