Welp the cat is out of the bag!! Fitting, since Taylor Swift used her cute cats Meredith & Olivia to pre-promote... Taylor Swift is dropping a new single AND music video titled "ME!" featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco.

Specifically for the past week or so, we've felt Taylor Swift had been dropping veiled clues about upcoming new music... But now that we KNOW the title, it appears Taylor has been leaving Easter eggs for her fans for OVER a year!!!
Taylor's "Swifties" are some of the most loyal & dedicated fans around, so it's VERY hard to get anything past them. Taylor even said so herself on Instagram, following her mural pop-up event in Nashville, writing, "So... @kelseymontagueart helped me pull off the best surprise clue reveal today in Nashville!! Thank you to everyone who showed up, I’ve never been more proud of your FBI level detective skills."

It should be no surprise then, that a Swiftie noticed that the first clue that "ME!" was on the way was in a post by Taylor's best friend, Selena Gomez... in December 2017!!!

In a sweet post dedicated to Taylor for her birthday, Selena wrote, "You write all the thoughts some aren’t able to articulate. (ME!) Thank you for giving a voice to this world that is authentic and inspiring."

Yep. There it was this whole time. Fittingly revealed ON Taylor's birthday.

The next "ME!" clue we found was from 2 months ago, when Taylor graced the cover of ELLE magazine.

She captioned the cover, "♥️ ME by @quentin_jones"

More "ME!" clues were slowly revealed througout Thursday (April 25th) -- starting with Taylor's surprise, mural pop-up in Nashville.

She stopped to take photos with fans & pose with the beautiful artwork... again, fans were quick to notice that "ME!" had been painted between the butterfly wings.

Taylor would go on to share another "ME!" on Instagram Thursday, posting:

"ME! by the one and only @valheria123 --------------------------"

But of course, we can't forget about the "FBI level detective work" by her fans, which also clued the internet in on the title, citing some pretty reputable information:

2 days prior, it turns out, Taylor had registered a song with Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, titled "ME!" -- Her fans are GOOOOOOOD!!!

It turns out Taylor had dropped another clue via Tumblr, reblogging:

Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it was a clue about what was to come... but in explaining her 'look' for her Netflix "Reputation Stadium Tour" global event, she wrote,"Me: CAN YOU MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A ZOMBIE HUNTER"

Those, mind you, are just the teases/clues about the title of the song. We, of course, can't forget the many clues she left over the past few months that would ultimately lead fans to believe the huge thing Taylor was preparing to release was, in fact, music.

The first indication of TS7?? Seven palm trees:

Following that post, Taylor's Instagram would undergo a sort-of makeover... replacing the dark, gothic-looking content of Reputation with bright pastels, glitter, hearts & butterflies.

And another...

And then, the butterflies:

Not just online mind you, but in real life:

And then, the date of it all was finally revealed... First, with a pink diamond heart:
