A little Bachelorette is here!
Lauren Burnham and Arie Luyendyk Jr. welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, May 29.
She weighed six pounds and 13 ounces at the time of arrival and measured in at 20 centimeters long.
"We have a healthy, BEAUTIFUL baby girl 6lbs, 13oz 20cm long," Luyendyk. Jr. announced on his Instagram Story.
"Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy."
Shortly after the baby was born, they took to Instagram to reveal her name.
"This was [the> first time she laid eyes on me, and I'm forever changed," the proud papa captioned a photo of his baby girl, Alessi Ren Luyendyk.
According to Lauren, Alessi is "sweet and calm."
The controversial couple, who announced that they were expecting their first child in November 2018, were initially told they were expecting a baby boy.
In January, they discovered that it was actually a baby girl.
Burnham told US Weekly about finding out that she was pregnant.
"I kind of had a feeling that I might be pregnant. So my friend insisted on bringing a pregnancy test over," she said.
She added that "Arie came out with the test in his hand and tears in his eyes. He was like, 'You're pregnant!'"
Arie's time on the Bachelor was controversial as Lauren wasn't his first choice. He actually picked Becca at the end of the series but immediately regretted his choice.
