Ryan Hurd chatted with US*99 before he took the stage at our Country Class of 2019 show at the Rosemont Theatre.
Ryan hit the stage on May 1st alongside Rachel Wammack, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Brandon Lay in a one-of-a-kind acoustic show.
Ryan will be singing the 7th Inning Stretch at Wrigley Field for the first time the Friday before he hits the stage at Lake Shake!
"I grew up watching it, and it was a big deal every afternoon in the summertime. Like, who's singing the stretch today?"
Ryan Hurd grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan before making the eventual leap to Nashville.
In Nashville, he began songwriting for major artists and even wrote "Lonely Tonight" for Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe.
Shortly after, he signed with Sony Music to release his debut album.
While living in Nashville, he met his now-wife and fellow country star, Maren Morris.
You can also catch him at LakeShake this summer on Sunday, June 23! Get your tickets HERE!
