Navy Pier To Begin Its Reopening Process On June 10
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Navy Pier announced it will begin to reopen on Wednesday, June 10.
Navy Pier introduces Wednesday its phased approach to cautiously reopening and resuming operations, with state and city guidelines for health and safety at the forefront of each phase, starting with a Phase 1 reopening on June 10.
Beginning on Wednesday, June 10, the Navy Pier parking garages (with free access), Polk Bros Park, Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion, the north and south docks, Pier Park, and the East End Plaza will reopen, but Pier Park rides will remain closed. Outdoor restaurant spaces, tour boats, and select free programs will also reopen or restart.
Navy Pier's hours of operations will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and may vary from establishment to establishment. Navy Pier has been closed since Monday, March 16 due to COVID-19.
