A family down to their last $12 at the beginning of the pandemic now has a new apartment and a new home, thanks to their 8-year-old son Aaron Moreno who started an incredible plant business (!).

Aaron, his Mom & two others were living in a shed in Los Angeles in February, struggling with finances, when he decided to start "Aaron's Garden". According to a GoFundMe supporting him, "He came up with the idea of selling plants and starting a business in his yard to be a provider, and buy his own Hot Cheetos with cheese without having to ask his mom for money!" :)

From eight plants in June to over $31,000 now raised, along with his mom's new part-time job, he was able to buy the family a car in October (his mom's first in four years) and a new apartment just weeks ago.

What's next? Continuing to build his business. Incredible!
