When you've achieved the goal of college graduation, there is a sense of pride and promise. What happens when your commencement speaker surprises you in a HUGE way?
You lose it! That's exactly what happened to 250 graduates of Quincy College in Massachusetts last week. Their speaker, a businessman named Robert Hale, gifted each of them $1,000 cash!
The only condition? They had to give half to their charity of choice. "You have persevered in the pandemic. You haven't had a chance to celebrate the last 14 months as much as you should," Hale told the crowd. "So, we want to give you a gift today."
Each graduate got 2 envelopes decorated by local schoolkids (one with $500 for them, and another with $500 to give away!) >>>>
