Lots of schools across the country have dress codes, most of them specifically prohibiting hats in the classroom.
What happened when one 8th grader at Stonybrook Middle School in Indianapolis hated his haircut & refused to remove his cap? He got sent to see Principal Jason Smith.
One simple question: "Why not?"
Because the boy's parents had made him get a haircut the previous day and he hated the look ... the boy didn't want kids to laugh at him.
Instead of punishment, Principal Jason offered to trim him up himself. Incredible!
"He just let me know his parents got him a haircut recently, but he didn't like how it came out," Smith said. "I'm assuming he just didn't want kids to laugh at him."
Instead of punishment, he offered to trim him up himself, having done it all through college for his basketball teammates!
