Another trend that's exploded in the pandemic? Cooking at home!

In Seattle, more than 500 home bakers have taken the next step to give back to their neighborhoods...

Headed by Katherine Kehrli, Community Loaves is on a daily mission to donate home-baked bread to local food banks ... over 1,300 loaves so far!

Matthew Campbell, associate director of food programs at Hopelink (one of their neighborhood food banks), told The Today Show, "When I think of my childhood, my baba, my grandma used to make the best homemade bread. That reminds me of this. You can see smiles through masks. You still can. You can see the eyes go up. [With] 600, 700 loaves of bread now, that's 600, 700 smiles."

Incredible!
