In a town of only 800, delivery drivers have been truly essential worker in the pandemic. For Chad Turns in Dauphin, PA, being the only UPS driver servicing the town has been a monumental task.
His supervisor said he's been working 60-80 weeks, all year, "Christmastime hours"! He knows every resident's name, and even makes sure that if he's delivering what he thinks is a "gift" for the kids, he'll come back when they're not playing out front, so as not to ruin the gift arrival's surprise.
To show their appreciation, the entire town got together for a surprise party to honor his hard work & say thank you ... with a $1,000 community-raised donation + dog treats for Chad to hand out along his route!
