An announcement was made via Rogers’ social media that revealed his widow, Wanda Rogers, has curated a collection of unreleased music by her late husband that will include 8 unreleased recordings and two “coveted rarities from the KR vault.” The collection is titled, Life Is Like A Song.
Included in the project will be a long-lost duet with his beloved duet partner Dolly Parton titled, “Tell Me That You Love Me.”
The project is set to release June 2.
“Kenny shares wisdom on life, love, family and loss in this specially curated collection of music by Kenny’s widow, Wanda Rogers, showcasing amazing never-before-heard music from the one and only Kenny Rogers,” the announcement reads.
“The album is being released in memory of Kenny to honor him and his musical legacy. The project marks the first new non-Christmas studio album by Rogers in 10 years and the only non-compilation/non-reissued full-length album to be released on vinyl since 1991.”
