A statement was posted to the “One Night Standards” singer’s Instagram story on Wednesday evening explained the accident that has postponed two shows on her current This Town Talks Tour and left many more in question.
“Earlier today, Ashley was enjoying her time in the beautiful state of Montana and had an accident while riding a horse,” the statement read. “After a trip to the hospital and a few stitches (and some very sore bones) she is recovering and doing her best to ensure she can play again as soon as possible.
It continued, “Thank you to the wonderful EMTs and hospital workers in Missoula. Our sincerest apologies to the fans for the postponement tonight. As soon as we have updates on other shows this week, we will make sure to let everyone know.”
Ashley’s Missoula show, scheduled for September 22, was postponed to a later date along with her show scheduled for Spokane on the 23rd.
The status of her future shows, including the future of her shows on Luke Combs’ What You See Is What You Get Tour are not known at this time.
