Kane Brown

Kane Brown recently helped Walmart welcome students back to school with a full-production show for the staff and students at his alma mater, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High in Georgia. While COVID-19 protocols kept students and staff from being able to form a crowd around the stage in the school parking lot, Kane was still able to make it a one-of-a-kind experience for the LFO Warriors, encouraging the crowd outside the barriers to sing along and make noise. Kane even incorporated the school’s drum line for the intro of his song, “What Ifs” which features Lauren Alaina, who is also an alumna of the high school. In addition to his performance, Kane and Walmart provided students with some new back to school gear to get their year started off on the right foot.

Loretta Lynn

Weeks after devastating floods ripped through sections of middle Tennessee last month and claimed the life of her beloved ranch foreman, Wayne Spears, Loretta Lynn is stepping up to host a star-studded benefit show, Loretta Lynn’s Friends: Hometown Rising Flood Relief Benefit Concert, on September 13 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House. Lynn has enlisted the help of some big-name peers including Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Luke Combs, Luke Bryan and more with all proceeds collected directly benefitting United Way of Humphreys County and its flood-relief efforts. The show will broadcast live via Circle Network at 7PM CT on September 13 as well as stream live across all Circle All Access social media accounts.

Luke Bryan

Growing up on a peanut farm in rural Georgia, Luke Bryan makes it a priority to honor his roots and support small-town farmers with his annual Farm Tour. The tour features the 45-year-old as he sets up a stage in the field of a local farm in rural towns he wouldn’t typically visit on tour. Throughout the trek, Luke gives back by to the communities he plays in by presenting local farming families college scholarships for their students attending the local college or university. This year’s tour is scheduled to stop at six different farms across the United States, five of which Luke has never visited before. The tour kicks off September 9 and runs through September 18.

Miranda Lambert

Quarantine prompted the adoption of several dogs in 2020, and lucky for those looking to adopt, Miranda Lambert had plenty of worthy pups to choose from through her Mutt Nation Foundation. Lambert started the rescue with her mom, Bev, in 2009 to ensure as many homeless dogs as possible would find a safe and happy home. Most-recently, Miranda is promoting the foundation’s “Love Harder” campaign, which sheds light on dogs who are easy to love, but have a harder time getting adopted due to their breed, age or special needs. Miranda is encouraging fans to share their own rescue stories involving “not-so-popular” pups to spread awareness. Entrants have the opportunity to win a one-of-a-kind, autographed, MuttNation guitar.

Brad Paisley

In March, just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Brad and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, opened a free grocery store named The Store, in Nashville. The establishment was built with the intention to help families experiencing food insecurity in the area, and proved to come at just the right time as more families began to struggle as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Paisley’s went above and beyond during the time of need as they not only provided free groceries to struggling Nashville community members, but they also established a group of volunteers to deliver a week's worth of groceries to elderly residents, who were encouraged to stay home as a result of being the most impacted demographic in the beginning of the pandemic.

Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton is no stranger to charitable donations, and stepped up big time when she forked up a $1 million donation to support COVID-19 vaccine research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Parton’s donation was made in the beginning months of the pandemic in honor of her good friend, Dr. Naji Abumrad, who was part of vaccine research at the institution. When it came time for Dolly to get vaccinated, she showcased herself getting both doses of her “own medicine” (Moderna vaccine) with social media videos where Dr. Abumrad was present for the administering. The Moderna vaccine is one of the three vaccines authorized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The other approved vaccines are Pfizer-BioNTech, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen. According to the CDC, as of September 9, 177,433,044 adults in the United States are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, which translates to 53.4% of the population.

Morgan Wallen

Morgan Wallen hosted an acoustic benefit concert at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works this week, which raised more than $725,000 for victims of recent storm damage and flooding in his home state of Tennessee. Wallen presented a check on-stage for the full amount to VP/ Donor Services from The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, Amy Fair. Fair went on to share that the amount is the largest the organization has ever received.
