While Dustin admits the title of the song may a bit misleading, it sure doesn’t disappoint as it delivers only good vibes and promises for brighter days.

“It’s a cool disguise,” Dustin said of the tune. “This song came into my life literally at the perfect time. I’d just gone through a break-up. My relationship did not survive quarantine,” he laughed.

“I remember going downtown to party with my boys for the first time on Broadway in Nashville and just feelin’ excited again. Like, ‘Man, the unknown. Let’s go have some drinks and see who we meet tonight,’ and that’s what this song really kind of embraces, for me.”

The song is one of 12 released on Lynch’s newest album, Blue In The Sky, which arrived February 11. Lynch explains he chose the Blue In The Sky title to reflect the positive place he is in personally and professionally at this time.

“I just wanted something that represented what this group of songs is to me, kind of where I am,” Dustin explained. “You can’t count the clouds in your life, you gotta appreciate the blue, and that’s where I’m at, I’m just feeling good about where I’m at.”
