While sitting down for a casual chat with host Kelly Ford and her team in New York City, "Drunk Me" singer Mitchell Tenpenny was asked a series of questions centered on himself -- with the option to answer truthfully, or "slam a shot."
After one to "loosen up," Kelly put Mitchell on the spot with her first question regarding who in his family is the most annoying, and what they do to annoy him. Opting for truth, Mitchell didn't even blink before naming his own brother. "100% truth. I love my brother to death but we're three years apart and, I don't know. We just get on each other's nerves sometimes. As we get older it's a little better, but growing up it was probably the worst."
Co-host Samantha from Queens asked what Mitchell perceives is his "worst habit." With a laugh and a point to the circle of shot glasses on the table, Mitchell opted to answer again, saying "truth... tequila!"
Co-host Jonah the New Guy followed up with his question about the worst date Mitchell has ever been on, adding the caveat, "and what was their name." The first shot in the game goes down as Mitchell refused to call out the person publicly, although you could tell from his face he had a pretty amazing story!
Proving himself to be an absolute pro at this game, it was Mitchell's turn to ask some questions. His first was for Kelly, whom he asked if she had more love for New York City or Nashville. Everyone at the table felt the tension, but Kelly's response was nothing short of inspiring. "I genuinely believe you should love where you are," Kelly said. "And I love New York; we're super grateful for New York." Mitchell's relationship question for Sabrina, however, had her reaching for a shot real fast!
