CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A child was shot Thursday night while inside a Englewood house.
Chicago police said it was around 11 p.m. when a 10-year-old girl, inside the back bedroom of home at 64th and Racine, was hit in the right leg. She was transported to Comers Children's Hospital in serious condition.
According to the CPD, the gunfire came from outside the home.
No one is in custody. Area One detectives are investigating.
