
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A teenager was among three people shot Thursday evening along a busy street in the Brainerd neighborhood on the South Side.
Chicago police said the shooting happened about 5:45 p.m. on 92nd and Halsted. A group was standing in a parking lot when a car pulled up to them and someone inside began shooting. Three people were hit, including a 15-year-old boy. Police said he was shot in the head and was last reported in critical condition at Christ Hospital.
A 20-year old man was wounded in the leg and taken to a hospital in fair condition. A third victim suffered a graze wound and declined to be treated by paramedics or taken to a hospital.
There have been no arrests.
