CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two men were wounded in a shooting outside a fast food restaurant on Chicago's West Side Tuesday night.
Chicago police said the men were standing on the sidewalk near North Avenue and Laramie in the Austin neighborhood when someone shot at them from a car. It was around 11:15 p.m., outside a McDonald's.
Police said a 25-year-old man was hit in the foot and a 26-year-old man was hit in the knee.
Both were taken to the hospital in good condition.
No one is in custody. Prior to Tuesday night's incident, the 25th District has seen a 21 percent increase in shootings over this time last year.
