2 teen girls charged with carjacking 62-year-old man in Chinatown

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two teen girls are now charged in the beating and carjacking of a 62-year-old man in Chinatown.

The Sept. 5  crimes were caught on surveillance video in the 200 block of West 22nd Place.

Three people were involved.  Chicago police said one of them, a 17 year old girl,  was arrested by members of  the Vehicular Hijacking Task Force on Wednesday, and another, a 15-year-old girl, was arrested Thursday.

Both teens are now charged with felony counts of Aggravated Vehicular Hijacking with a Weapon and Aggravated Battery to a victim 60 and over.

Police are still looking for the third suspect.
