(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Alsip police arrested two men and a male teenager earlier this week for a string of alleged overnight burglaries in several suburbs and two counties.

At around 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, Alsip police said an alarm at a luxury car dealership- Pro Cars- near 120th and Central triggered an officer response. There, officers found the dealership’s front window was broken into. Five minutes later, officers were notified of a burglary in progress at White Bear Liquor Store, located at 123rd and Cicero, according to police.

An officer was able to arrive at the scene in time to see four offenders leave the liquor store and flee in a white Audi. The officer began to pursue the offenders but lost sight of them and their car at 127th and Kedzie, police said.

According to authorities, the offenders and their white Audi were identified an hour later by Villa Park police. The offenders refused to stop when police attempted to pull the car over, which led to police putting out Stop Sticks to flatten the Audi’s back tires. That didn’t stop them however, as they continued to drive, reaching the I-294 South Bound Tri-State. Police said eventually, the Audi crashed and the offenders then began to flee on foot. Officers from several neighboring police departments- Midlothian, Markham, Country Club Hills, and Posen- soon apprehended the offenders.

Police said the Audi was stolen from Hodgkins and that two pistols were found in the vehicle. It was also learned that the same crew had allegedly conducted a burglary in Downers Grove at about 2:20 a.m. that same morning.

30-year-old Dominique Jones of Chicago, and 19-year-old Keonte Porter of Riverdale have been charged with burglary by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. The two will have a bond hearing on July 22. Meanwhile, the 17-year-old juvenile who was arrested is currently being held at the DuPage County Juvenile Detention Center.

Police said weapons charges for the offenders are pending.
