CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Five people, including three Chicago Police officers were hurt in a crash Thursday night in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.
An unmarked patrol car had its lights and sirens on, Chicago Police said, when it crashed into a red SUV near the intersection of 115th and Ashland.
The force of the crash at about 9:20 p.m. knocked the Jeep SUV on its side.
The police department said three officers went to the hospital in good condition with minor injuries. The man driving the SUV suffered an eye injury and his female passenger hurt her leg.
Both were also transported in good condition.
There’s no word of any tickets being issued.
