CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police said arrests have been made in Tuesday afternoon’s carjacking of a woman on the South Side.
Police said all three suspects are 17-years old. Two are girls. One is a boy. Police said the three allegedly took a vehicle at gunpoint from a 25-year old woman on 87th Street in the Chatham neighborhood, but, blocks away on 88th and Wabash, Chicago police spotted the car in traffic and tried to get the suspects to stop. They bailed out of the car but were caught after a foot chase.
They’ve been charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.
