
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- From Friday afternoon into Saturday morning five teenagers have been shot in Chicago including one fatally.
A 14-year-old boy was shot Friday night in North Lawndale.
Chicago police said the teen suffered two gunshot wounds to the wrist about 9:40 p.m. while in the 900 block of South Independence Boulevard.
No other details were given. No one was reported in custody.
About three blocks away, a boy, 17, was killed and another, 16, was wounded in a shooting around five hours earlier.
Two 15-year-olds were shot in separate incidents. Both were riding in cars. One was shot on the 400 block of South Western and the other on the 400 block of East 71st Street.
One was in good condition and the other fair. No arrests were reported.
