CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are investigating a late night shooting on the West Side that left an elderly man wounded.
Police said an 83-year-old man was driving in an alley on Laramie near Adams, the South Austin neighborhood, when he was shot in the torso by an unknown male suspect who was standing in the alley.
The victim was able to drive himself to the 15th Police District and from there was transported to West Suburban Hospital, police said. He is currently listed in good condition.
No one is in custody.
