(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Catholic church sex-abuse survivors claim they've found more accused priests and religious brothers who were not in a report recently issued by the Illinois Attorney General.
Activist David Rudofski said Thursday he was happy the AG brought more light to the problem of sex abuse in the Catholic church, but it wasn't enough.
He was with a handful of people -- including those from a group called Ending Clergy Abuse -- who claim to have found 30 more priests and religious brothers credibly accused of abusing young people.
They tried to deliver a letter calling for action against those men to Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica on the West Side.
WBBM Newsradio is not naming the newly accused clergy members because they have not been identified by the attorney general’s office or the Archdiocese of Chicago, which have clashed publicly over their own separate findings.
WBBM Newsradio has reached out to the Archdiocese and the attorney general for comment about Thursday’s news conference.
