PUTNAM COUNTY, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An Amber Alert has been issued following the abduction of a newborn baby in central Illinois.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and Illinois State Police said the child abduction occurred at 7 a.m. Sunday in at 15801 Center Street in McNabb.

State Police described the infant, whose name is Noah DelHotal, as a white boy who is 20 inches tall and weighs 15 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a gray and white striped pajama shirt and bottoms.

His mother reported that Noah was taken from his residence by his non-custodial father, Kevin DelHotal. DelHotal is described as a white male standing 6-feet-4-inches tall and weighing 275 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark colored "Illinois" hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.

The man DelHotal was last seen with Noah in a white 2001 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Illinois license plate Z 5 2 9 0 2 0.
