CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - This week's Made in Chicago features a North Side gallery that hundreds of artists have called home.
At 5247 N. Clark Street, you'll find a cornucopia of artistic creations all under one roof at Andersonville Galleria. Adam More is the owner.
“We're a year-round art fair, where we have over 110 artists over three floors,” More says.
More bought Andersonville Galleria in 2018, but, before that, he was a loyal customer.
“I love the melding of the two worlds between business and art, and I'm not a creative, but I love having creatives in the space…It's really cool what the artists create. It's something new every day,” More adds.
Across the three floors of retail space, shoppers can find just about anything, and that keeps many of them, including Sondra Poloma and Joshua A. coming back.
“There's a lot of great gift shops on the street, but there's always something different here, and I like that it's organized by artists,” Poloma says.
“I love the variety of different types of handmade art that's here,” says Joshua.

More says the Andersonville Galleria is bustling during the holiday shopping season.
“We're usually the place for [a] one-stop shop for gifts for holidays…because if you can't find something for your friends, then you got to change your friend, I think,” he laughs.
Moore says artists can rent a booth for as little as $120 a month, and many artists are grateful to have a space in a high traffic area where they might not otherwise be able to afford rent.
“I'm most proud of seeing my vendors get big checks at the end of the month. My job is to help them lose their 9-5 job and become artists full-time,” More says.
