(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Bally's is putting its promises into play, selling 25% of stock to women and minorities.
Bally's plans to sell a 25% stake in its Chicago casino to women and minority investors.
The casino says the commitment was part of the agreement with the city to build and operate in Chicago.
The new $1 billion casino and 500 room hotel is being built on the former site of the Chicago Tribune's printing plant along the Chicago River.
It's expected to open in fall of 2026.
