(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Embattled Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard, who also serves as Thornton Township supervisor, is facing another lawsuit.
In his wrongful termination lawsuit that was filed Thursday, former Thornton Maintenance Manager Dwayne Thrash calls himself a dedicated employee who planned to stay with the township for the rest of his career.
He claims he was fired for failing to go along with a plan to change the law firm representing the township schools trustees.
Thrash alleges Henyard and her Special Assistant Keith Freeman offered him a $10,000 raise to change law firms.
When he refused, the suit says, he was fired.
