
AURORA, IL (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Students, teachers and staff at Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora are safe after a bomb threat was made Monday morning.

Aurora police arrived at around 7:30 a.m. to investigate the alleged threat. Teachers and students remained in their classrooms while police and the DuPage County sheriffs conducted a thorough search of the building.
Less than two hours later, at around 9:15 a.m., authorities deemed the school to be safe.
