(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A 14-year-old boy died after being shot in the head on the city's South Side, police said Thursday evening.
The boy was shot in the head around 7 p.m. "by an unknown offender" inside a residence in the 9300 block of South Wallace, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at Comer Children's Hospital.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
